## Welcome to the new HOPPS!

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new and improved HOPPS online system! This transition brings several behind-the-scenes functional improvements designed to streamline the process for our customers, making purchasing a daily parking permit more convenient and efficient.

While everything will work the same, you may notice some visual changes:

- After the permit purchase, a “View Permit” button is now available
- The purchase confirmation email will contain a direct link to the QR code
- You can obtain your most recent active permit after logging in using the “View Permit” button

One exciting update is that the 52 Oxford Street Garage, 10 Everett Garage, Broadway Garage, and HBS Lot are going paperless! Customers will no longer need to print their HOPPS permits to show to the booth attendant and leave them on their dashboards at these paperless locations. Instead, **your purchase receipt email will include a QR code link in it to show to the garage attendant for entry and permit verification**. Other locations will expand to paperless in the future.

**Non-Harvard Key Customers:**

- Please be aware that, due to additional security enhancements and stronger password encryption, you will be prompted to reset your password upon your first log-in.

If you have any questions or need assistance, please feel free to reach out to the Campus Service Center at (617) 496-7827 or <parking@harvard.edu>.

## Pre-purchased permits 5/13/25-5/17/25

We need to inform you that this transition will impact your existing daily permit(s) if you have already purchased a permit for May 13 through May 17. When the new system goes live on May 13, 2025, you will receive an email containing a new QR code(s). This will replace your existing QR code, which will no longer be valid.

What you need to do:

1. Keep an eye on your inbox for the upcoming email with your new QR code link(s).
2. Please display the new QR code for entry and permit verification.

We appreciate your cooperation during this transition. Our goal is to provide you with a seamless and efficient experience.
