# Harvard Launches New Commuter Benefit Introducing Harvard’s improved commuter benefit, now with more options and ways to save. You can place your June 2026 transit order by May 7. We’re moving to a new provider, Jawnt, that will offer more flexible options and ways to save: - Cost-saving options for hybrid schedules - A mobile wallet-friendly debit card that works with [**Tap to Ride**](https://www.mbta.com/fares/charlie/tap-ride) - Resources to help you choose the best option for your commute Effective May 1, this will replace the Edenred transit benefit. If you previously enrolled with Edenred, you'll need to re-enroll in Jawnt. Scroll down for important dates and information. ## Important Details ### About Jawnt Jawnt is a transit oriented commuter benefits provider that makes it easier than ever to commute to campus. The Jawnt Pass commuter debit card works with the MBTA’s new [Tap to Ride](https://www.mbta.com/fares/charlie/tap-ride) technology and gives you more ways to save money on your commute. You'll receive an invite to sign up. **April 7**: [Deadline to enroll](https://www.jawntpass.com/enroll/harvard#getting-started) and activate benefits for May. Your remaining Edenred funds will not be applied for the first benefit month so this will be fully funded via payroll deduction. - **You'll receive a notification from Jawnt once your Edenred funds are available.** You can then apply these funds to your monthly transit or parking contribution in Jawnt.
