## Harvard Shuttles, now easier to track with Citymapper.

Harvard Shuttles is now fully live on **Citymapper**, a new all-in-one app designed to make getting around campus and beyond simpler, more reliable, and easier to plan.

The launch follows feedback from students and members of the Harvard community about opportunities to improve the previous shuttle-tracking experience. Citymapper brings together real-time shuttle information, trip planning, and connections to other transportation options in a single app.

### See Your Shuttle in Real Time

With Citymapper, riders can view Harvard Shuttles moving on a live map and access real-time arrival countdowns. This helps riders know when to leave their dorm, lab, office, or other location and when to head to the shuttle stop.

For step-by-step directions, riders can tap **“Go”** to receive guidance throughout their trip, including an alert when it is time to get off.

### Plan Your Trip, Your Way

Citymapper’s trip-planning tools help riders find the best route for their day and make more efficient use of their time. Users can save frequently used locations, such as a dorm, office, or lab, for quick, one-tap journey planning.

Whether traveling to class, heading to the Allston campus, commuting between Cambridge and the Longwood Medical Campus, or leaving a late study session, riders can compare options and choose the route that works best.

### More Transportation Options in One App

In addition to Harvard Shuttle routes, Citymapper integrates:

- Harvard Evening Van
- M2 shuttle service
- MBTA transit
- Bluebikes

By bringing these services together, Citymapper makes it easier to see transportation choices side by side and plan a complete trip from start to finish.

## From the Yard to the Quad, Citymapper’s got your ride!

Harvard Transit is replacing Passio GO! and, after a year-long review shaped by student feedback and research, is transitioning to Citymapper to provide a more reliable, integrated shuttle-tracking experience.

In response to feedback on Passio GO!’s performance, Harvard Transit undertook a comprehensive evaluation of shuttle tracking and mobility platforms. Over the past year, the team:

- Conducted extensive market research on available shuttle tracking and mobility solutions,
- Interviewed and reviewed more than 20 vendors, narrowing the search to a small group of leading providers, and
- Collected insight from the community by holding focus groups and connecting with student group leaders, schools, and departments.

This process ensured that the decision was guided by the real needs and daily experiences of riders across the University.

](https://citymapper.com/)### Goodbye Passio GO!, Hello Citymapper

The decision to move away from Passio GO! reflects Harvard Transit’s ongoing commitment to providing reliable shuttle services that support the academic and campus life of students, faculty, and staff.

Citymapper has been chosen as Harvard’s new shuttle tracking application and will launch over the summer. Already in use in major cities around the world, Citymapper offers a proven, user-friendly platform for real-time transit information.

For Harvard riders, Citymapper will be configured to meet campus-specific needs. In addition to fixed shuttle routes and real-time tracking, the app will integrate Evening Van Service, MBTA, and Bluebikes, and will offer trip planning features - all within a single, easy-to-use interface

More information, including instructions on how to download and navigate the Citymapper app and details about the transition timeline, will be shared as the launch approaches. Harvard Transit looks forward to continuing to improve the rider experience and welcomes ongoing feedback from the community.
