#  Orange Charger 

 



Download for access to our Level 1 and Level 2 EV chargers. You will need to be approved by the Campus Service Center to use the chargers.



 

 

##  How to use the Orange Charger 

1. Download app 
    1. Free on the [Apple App Store and Google Play Store ](https://www.orangecharger.com/mobile-app)

2. Create your account
    1. Use your Harvard email to sign up in the app. Allow Bluetooth and camera access, and choose skip for payment and billing. Once approved for an ECS Permit, you will receive an email inviting you to the assigned lot.
3. **Level one only** BYOC (Bring your own charger)
    1. Drive to approved charging location and plug your Level 1 (100-120V) charge cable into your car and charge box.
4. Start your charge
    1. Once plugged in, scan the QR code on the charger and follow the prompts to start the charge. You may track the charging status in the app. Be sure to turn on bluetooth, as cellular or wifi connectivity may not be strong enough.
5. And off you go!
    1. To end the session, unplug the charge cable or manually end the session in the app.
