Parking will be available for all Commencement Day 2024 visitors. All guests, including guests needing accessible parking, should proceed to the Soldiers Field Park Garage located at 111 Western Avenue in Allston or the 2 Hague Street parking lot in Allston.

Signs will be posted directing traffic to the designated locations above. Please note that all parking is on a first-come, first-served basis, and is in satellite parking areas. Parking will be available beginning at 6:30 AM on Commencement Day, May 23, 2024.

Please note that backpacks will not be allowed in Harvard Yard during all Commencement events. Please leave your backpack in your vehicle to avoid delays when you arrive at Harvard Yard.

If you are looking for extended parking during this week, please contact the Parking Office at parking@harvard.edu. This is a busy week at the University and we may not be able to assist with all requests.

For information on Harvard Shuttle Services for Commencement Day, please click here. Accessible shuttles will be running from these parking locations throughout the day, until 8:00 PM. Please note that there will be several designated accessible parking areas in Allston adjacent to commencement shuttle stops.

Please plan your visit accordingly, as traffic in Cambridge will be extremely busy, with significant delays going to and from Harvard Square.

Additionally, Commencement Week visitors and guests should be aware that there are numerous commercial parking facilities in and around Harvard Square. Locations and additional information can be found at www.harvardsquare.com/parking. Please be respectful of the Allston and Cambridge communities by not parking on residential streets.
