Use Bluebikes to travel across the Boston area on shared bikes and e-bikes. Bikes can be returned to any of the hundreds of stations across the network including the 14 supported by Harvard. Harvard affiliates have access to a discounted annual membership. Download the app today!

Register for or renew your membership: 

  1. Go to Bluebikes.com and log in or join with your phone number and email address (if you already have a Lyft or Bluebikes account, log in using that account). 
  2. Under ‘Membership’, click ‘View details’. Then, click ‘Enter promo code’.  
  3. Enter the promo code CRIMSON1636 in the popup and click ‘Submit’.  
  4. If you’re asked to verify your email, follow the redirect to enter your work email address and click ‘Verify’. An email will be sent to complete verification.  
  5. Once verified, you can finish signing up with your discounted rate.  

When you join, you can chose to purchase a Bluebikes key and you can also unlock bikes using the Bluebikes app.
