Bikes & Scooters on Harvard Shuttles

Manual and electric scooters as well as children's bicycles are allowed on all Harvard Shuttles and vans, but please keep in mind that buses can become crowded so refrain from boarding with a scooter if there’s not enough space. Consider scootering to your destination or simply wait for the next bus. When onboard, make sure to keep the scooter out of the way and secure. Fold them whenever possible. A scooter can be a tripping hazard and a falling scooter can injure someone. Gasoline-powered scooters are not permitted on any Harvard transit vehicle.
