Evening Commuter Permits

Evening Commuter (ECOM) permits are granted for non-assigned parking valid in designated lot only.  ECOMS are valid between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, and all day on weekends and University holidays.

  • Daytime Parking: If you need to park on campus outside of ECOM hours, you must purchase daily or hourly parking to cover the difference. ECOM permits do not authorize daytime parking.
  • Enforcement: Parking outside of these hours is strictly enforced. Violations may result in ticketing, towing, and/or revocation of parking privileges.

In addition, the following basic policies apply to all who park on Harvard property:

  • Parking regulations prevail at all times, including nights, weekends and holidays;
  • Parking permits (hangtags) must be displayed at all times.
  • All vehicles must have a license plate and valid registration sticker, or risk being considered abandoned and removed from University property.
