LMA/Cambridge Reciprocal Parking Agreement
Harvard employees who hold valid Longwood Medical Area (LMA) daytime parking permits, but have occasional University business on the Cambridge or Allston Campuses, are authorized to park in the following areas on a space-available basis, weekdays between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.:
- 10 Everett Street Garage
- 52 Oxford Street Garage
- Broadway Garage - Levels 3 and Above
- Business School Lot
- Soldiers Field Park Garage
Any exception or special request must be pre-approved through the Campus Service Center by email.
Employees holding valid annual Harvard University Cambridge/Allston permits are authorized to park on the Harvard Longwood Campus (HLC) in the Quad Garage located at 200 Longwood Avenue on a space-available basis, weekdays 6:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. This reciprocal parking is only for employees with short-term business-related meetings on the HMS campus, not full-day parking. If you have business in the Longwood Medical Area that is not in a Harvard building, you should plan to park at a local public parking facility.
Provide one day notice prior to parking at HLC
- Due to the limited availability of parking spaces at the Harvard Longwood Campus, the HMS Parking Office encourages you to provide one-day advance notice before you arrive at the HLC. Reciprocal parking spaces can be reserved by emailing your name, vehicle information, contact number, and HU parking location to parking@hms.harvard.edu or by calling the HMS Commuter Services and Parking Office at (617) 432-1111.
- Cambridge/Allston visitors holding any permit other than an annual HU permit may have parking reserved for them by a department representative here and will be charged a 33-digit department billing code.
- Visitors to the HLC who do not hold an HU permit may purchase a daily permit here, Monday through Friday.
HMS Commuter Services and Parking staff are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
Please note: Valet parking will be in effect at the Quad Garage as needed.
